Roary shared about how to use MaxHub monitors with a dongle last week, so this week it’s time to talk about how to use them without a dongle.

Getting Started
Press the MaxHub’s power button (found at the bottom right corner of the device)
Device Without Dongle Instructions:
1. Visit MaxHub Support website.
Scroll down to the “Download Center” section and click on “Software”, then select “MaxHub Share” from the options provided.
2. Download the version that matches your device’s specifications.
3. Open the application
4. Enter the code shown on the MaxHub screen OR directly connect with your laptop by double-clicking the correct monitor screen.
5. Begin to share your device’s content on the MaxHub monitor! Seamlessly transfer files to the big screen for an engaging experience. Happy Studying!

Getting Started:
Press the MaxHub’s power button (found at the bottom left corner of the device).
Try out the Whiteboard application – it’s great for boosting collaboration and supercharging your productivity!

Device with Dongle Instructions:
1. Plug the dongle into the screen and press the triangle-shaped button (it will light up).
2. Remove the dongle from the Maxhub after the device update is complete.
3. Insert the dongle into your device.
4. Go to the bottom right corner of the MaxHub monitor, click on “Input Source,” and then select “Screenshare” .

‘Save My Spot’ Lockers Try-out @ Libroary Thursdays
Have you noticed our new friend – the ‘Save My Spot’ lockers on the Library’s 6th Floor? They are installed at the start of this semester with the purpose of storing unattended items left on library seats.
Here is a short introduction video on how to use the upgraded ‘Save My Spot’ system.

Turning on Sony Monitor
The power button is usually found at the bottom of the center.
Connecting Your Device
Connect your device to the Sony monitors using the HDMI cable already connected to it.
Select the Input Source
Use the source button on the monitor to select the correct input source (e.g., HDMI 2).
Tips for Audio Configuration Toubleshooting
1. Check if your device’s audio output is connected to the monitor’s audio input.
2. Adjust the volume using the monitor’s volume controls or your device’s settings.
