★Event Information
Rumour has it that some long gone creature has found its way back to the earth.
The only thing we know is that it craves knowledge and companionship –
especially from the youngsters.
No way, it was spotted in our Library! Help!! What should we do?
To comfort this curious little creature and celebrate his new friendship with us, we named him Roary, as roar means “I love you” in dinosaur.
Now we introduce a fun event series called Libroary Thursdays (pronunciation: lai-b-roa-ry) to you, with our beloved new friend Roary.
Libroary Thursdays features the most handy tricks and useful know-hows of NYU Shanghai Library. In addition to getting various event-based gifts (first come, first served!), you are also encouraged to earn Libroary badges online. Those who have collected the most badges will enter our lucky draw to win the final prizes!

This is a huge question! Recently, I heard Baidu might have lost some of its authority as a source a while ago. That is, a few years ago, people questioned how each answer was decided and shared on Baidu. Similar to Facebook in 2020: who saw which posts? Who decided which posts would appeal to me?
Conceptual Model of celebrity or influence
That’s exactly the right thing to ask! How did it get there? What does appeal mean?
