Starting April 14, the EBSCO e-reader will transition from Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) to Thorium Reader as the default application for downloading EBSCO ebooks.

There will be no service interruption. Beginning April 14, you’ll be guided to use Thorium when downloading eBooks. If you already have books checked out in ADE, don’t worry. You can continue reading them there until your loan period ends.

Thorium is a modern, easy-to-use reader that’s actively maintained, offering a smoother and more reliable experience for offline reading.
