The sounds of nature can be calming and restorative. In The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating, Elisabeth Tova Bailey finds comfort by listening to her snail as it eats.
Come join us as we draw inspiration from the NYUSH Reads book to build a digital collection of nature sounds in Shanghai.
In the first event of a multi-stage program, participants are invited to collect sounds through a trip to Gongqing Forest Park. Participants will form groups and collaborate to record sounds from nature.
This event will be followed at a later date by an editing workshop and a final showcase of all collected sounds.
Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 22
