Free Access to New York Times and Wall Street Journal

Did you know you can access to The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal for free? Our library now offers subscription to all students, faculty, and staff, free of charge.

New York Times

  1. Log out of nytimes.com on all your devices.
  2. Go to www.accessnyt.com.
  3. Find your school name by selecting “New York University” from the dropdown menu.
  4. Under Get your access now, click the “Go” button
  5. Click “Already have an account? Log in here.”
  6. Input your existing New York Times login credentials.
  7. Select your status as “student” (enter your graduation date) or “faculty/staff.”
    * Students will have access until they graduate. Faculty and staff must renew once every four years.
  8. Click “Login” and you will be directed to www.nytimes.com.
  9. By reactivating your account, you reaffirm your consent to the Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Wall Street Journal

Digital subscriptions to The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) are available to NYU students, faculty, and staff, free of charge.

Select the “New York University” option to login through the NYU authentication system.
