MaxQDA is a software that provides researchers with the qualitative data analysis software tools to code and organize their data materials. This is a hands-on tutorial that reviews how to start a QDA project from uploading text, classifying and coding transcripts, memo writing, and producing analyses.

• Introduction to QGIS (Online Workshop)

QGIS is an open source software package for geospatial analysis. This introductory workshop covers simple GIS analyses and visualizations within QGIS.

No prior knowledge of GIS is required. If attending virtually, you must download and install QGIS to follow along.

• Introduction to Python

This is a hands-on workshop focused on getting started with writing Python code and covers basic concepts and ideas working up to a realistic web-scraping example.

Prerequisites: Basic computer literacy, understanding files and folders. No prior programming experience is necessary.
